LCS is a family owned company. Founded in 1971 by SailendraNath Chatterjee the management of LCS has now passed on to the second generation of owners. This company has, from its inception, been engaged in the manufacture and export of high quality precision tool holding and work holding equipment with the aim to becoming one of the best solution providers in this industry. Saibal Chatterjee is a renowned business leader and entrepreneur.
With his visionary leadership, Mr. Chatterjee has played a pivotal role as the Chairman and Managing Director of Lokenath Chatterjee & Sons (Precision Tools) Pvt. Ltd. Under his guidance, the company has attained a remarkable global presence, serving customers and maintaining a network of agents across Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Beyond his professional achievements, Saibal Chatterjee is also recognized for his contribution to Management education. He teaches International Marketing at the St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, IISWBM, IIFT Kolkata, Globsyn and a few other reputed institutions. He is a member of the board of studies, St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a member of the Academic Council at Globsyn Business School, Kolkata.
Sriparna is closely associated with the day to day functioning of LCS. She actively coordinates production activities with customer delivery deadlines. Known as a hard “task master” Sriparna has made significant contributions in improving the delivery performance of LCS.
She has completed her Masters in Teaching French as a Foreign Language at the University of Rouen and has a passion for teaching and translation. Beyond her language studies, Sriparna Chatterjee has also pursued professional development opportunities, including a program on ‘Professionalizing the Family Business’ at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
